Our Results: Eight Years of Growth
UrbanFUTURE (UF) has worked in the Tower
Grove community in St. Louis since 2001, serving 4th-8th
grade students and their families. The 2008-09 Year
End Report documents the successes of the organization
and tells the story of achievement for those students
who have participated in UrbanFUTURE programming.
It is the goal of UF staff to ensure that students
participating in the five year continuum (4th through
8th grade), read at grade level, have an engaged parent
or guardian, have mastered the art of goal setting
and have practical experience in a vibrant character
education program. Ultimately, they have a much clearer
sense of where they are headed during their high school
years and beyond.
